Satan hates you. 'They' hate you, because they belong to him. To them you are nothing, whatever nationality you are. To Satan, you're destruction is the means by which he can vent his anger at God.
Jesus Christ is God. He loves you. He has given everything He has, at the highest cost to Himself, purely in order to save you. To Him you are everything.
Maybe I'm a bit slow, but isn't this an easy choice to make?
